We have the experience and connectivity to help your business succeed. Our experienced team have supported climate tech companies for over a decade, including partnering with EIT-Climate-KIC since 2015 to deliver climate accelerators.
We are a public-private initiative comprising EIT Climate-KIC, Trinity College Dublin, GreenTechHQ Sustainability Innovation Hub and SustainabilityWorks. Tangent, Trinity’s Ideas Workspace powered by Trinity College Dublin as implementing partner.
Partner Overview
Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, is uniquely positioned to deliver on this great initiative. Through its Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre ‘Tangent’, the college has successfully delivered a numerous EIT Climate KIC accelerators and incubator initiatives in recent years, as well as a suite of certified and professional innovation programmes for students, academics and corporate audiences. Tangent directed the 2021 and 2022 Circular and Built Environment ClimAccelerators which saw 68 independent start-ups from 19 countries develop or scale their businesses. Tangent is currently managing a 36-month New Ventures initiative for the Irish Manufactuing Research Centre (IMR) as part of their Climate KIC supported ‘Circuléire’ initiative. Tangent is informed by research and international best practice and its programmes are engaging, interactive and experiential.
GreenTechHQ Ireland’s Sustainability Innovation Hub provides a world-class ecosystem for companies and communities who want access to leading business, innovation and sustainability knowledge, extend their global connections and business solutions support.
Established in Enniscorthy, Wexford in the heart of the South East region, GreenTechHQ is a home for start-ups, scale-ups and companies with an eye on their sustainable solutions to help climate change. GreenTechHQ supports businesses within its collaborative workspaces through events & programmes, investment, mentoring and support services in thought leadership, communication, innovation, training, incubation and pilot projects.
With the support of partner organisations, EIT Climate-KIC run theme- and place-based ClimAccelerators in local contexts around the world. These programmes are delivered successfully and autonomously using our open-sourced, proven methodology, shaped over 10+ years of experience.

SustainabilityWorks is a consultancy on a mission to accelerate climate action and sustainability. So much about climate change is negatively framed and focuses on risk. In our work, we seek to flip this narrative as we believe that the transition to a cleaner, greener world is an opportunity, not just a burden. Climate Tech innovation is a perfect example, as it can engage the business and finance community to act on climate change in a way that is aligned with commercial objectives.
